For eleven Christmas seasons, a traditional Moravian Christmas Star has adorned the sanctuary during Advent, Christmas, and Epiphany.  The star, made by Pastor Steve Miller's grandfather and rehabilitated by Steve's father, is made from delicate paper in the Moravian way. Prior to the Sunday evening ceremony lighting the star, the church youth served a soup dinner.
