YOUTH INVOLVEMENT
The UCC Vermillion has rich programs for young people, including our Loaves and Fishes (LAF) program for children and families, confirmation, and BC (Before Confirmation).

In addition, a few Sundays throughout the year are
LAF CELEBRATION Sundays - worship dedicated to the young people and the LAF Lessons they have learned!
YOUTH PROGRAMS OFFERED
Wednesdays, September 11, 2024 - March 20, 2025
LAF (Loaves And Fishes)
Our LAF program is held on Wednesday from 6:00 - 7:00 pm during the school year, following our Community Meal at 5:30 pm. We will share songs and stories, rituals, and activities. LAF is a wonderful mini-lesson to the following Sunday’s sermon. You can register your child(ren) for these programs by emailing uccv@uccvermillion.org or call 605-624-3120. the church office.

BC (Before Confirmation)
BC is for 6th & 7th grade students. They meet on Wednesday evenings from 6:00 - 7:00 pm during the school year. BC is a wonderful opportunity to explore their beliefs and discuss them with their peers.​

Confirmation I & II
8th & 9th grade students who are preparing for Confirmation meet on Sundays following worship. They have a meal together, then have spirit time and discuss what it means to be members of a church family.
